It's National Carrot Day!

So, today, we are celebrating all things carrots.

Did you know?

  • The average person will consume 10,866 carrots in a lifetime

  • Carrots are not always orange and can also be found in purple, white, red or yellow

  • Dream of carrots - it portends prosperity and health; For a young woman to eat them denotes she will contract an early marriage and be the mother of several hardy children!

Here's our video tribute to the beloved vegetable.

  1. Hi

Can you tell me who decided 3 February is called "National Carrot Day". I could have helped significantly promote the day had I been informed.

The World Carrot Museum is working towards a World Carrot Day which should be 10 December, when all carrot fans and collectors celebrate this wonderful vegetable. Lots more in the Carrot Museum website www.carrotmuseum.com

    Best wishes
