Behind the scenes: An update from Ido

Our first video conference call with Carrot Lovers took place on July 22, 2010 using technology from Justin.tv which allowed Ido to be seen and heard via webcam. Guests could watch for as long as they wanted and submit questions through a chat window (no login required!)

Ido had a great time chatting with Carrot Lovers, and we want to do it again soon! If you'd like to be notified when our next broadcast goes live, click over to our brand page on Justin.tv and "follow" Yes To, inc.

You can watch the call right here. (Please excuse the first 20 seconds of the video - that's just me getting it set up.)

In this call we covered new products (coming to a store near you next week!), new packaging, and answered questions from guests. For our next call, what topics would you like to see covered?

  1. Interesting podcast. I was surprised that I didn't see any information about the change made to the yes to carrots body butter. I have used this product since it came out into the store and loved it. I have very dry skin and loved that the body butter soaked into my skin instead of just sitting on top like a lot of other products I have tried. It gave my skin a nice shiny glow and smelled great. However, the last two times I have purchased the carrot body butter, I was disappointed to find that the consistency is different...no longer creamy, it sat on my skin and made me feel slimy when I took a shower the next morning, and the new smell is terrible. When I first purchased this changed product, I thought it was rancid and took it back to the store I purchased it from. The person in the cosmetic area opened another new body butter and we found the same consistancy and smell with the just opened product. Because I live in an area that temps outside sometimes exceed 104 in the summer months, I can't use a product that just sits on my skin. Products that do this don't allow my skin to breath and causes me to sweat even more. I don't know who suggested to you that this change would be better for the product, but they were wrong and unfortunately I have to now say NO TO CARROTS.
