What's crunchy, from Japan, and tastes like purple sweet potatoes?

Standing in the center of the Yes To office in San Francisco this morning, co-founder Ido Leffler announced that we would be playing a Japanese-style game show and requested a drum roll from the crowd.

Having instructed every employee to hold out their hands, he distributed small Kit Kat bars he had brought from a recent trip to Japan, and then asked us to guess the flavors based on taste alone.

I won the first challenge, correctly identifying Soy Sauce-flavored Kit Kat. Pictured here is good sport and Business Development Manager Lauren sampling a mysterious Kit Kat in a muted green color. Mmmm.



The next four exotic flavors on which our taste buds were tested were Green Tea, Melon, Wasabi, and Purple Sweet Potato, all punctuated by the familiar crisp texture of a Kit Kat.
